 Built
from 1980 to 1981 this boat has very little documented information on
it. I have seen one in our area and have a few photos.

Paris gave me on the Roughwater 29.
This was designed by Ed Monk Jr. to try and beat the moorage shortage. I asked
him for an 8 foot beam so it could be put on a trailer if needed. CC Chen didn’t
have room to build this in his factory so I contracted with a Korean company
to build 12.
The company was Kung Il and was a subsidy of Hyundai Motor Co. I ended up losing
$5000.00 on each sale because of the cost, changes in the market, and the comment
below.
The factory put in a Ford diesel as specified, but it was not a boat version
with the right flywheel. It was from a tractor and the vibration was very severe.
